The Team Challenge
2020 marks the 16th year for this one-of-a-kind marquee event. This competition takes place on Saturday evening and is limited to the first six clubs to submit their entry fee.
Each club will choose representatives for their team on each of the four Olympic events. The strongest competitor in each event will compete (one competitor for each of the USAG levels 4, 5, 6 or 7, 8, and 9 or 10 (judged as a 10)– 1B college rules).
Additionally, each club is allowed to select a sixth athlete from any level as their “wildcard” competitor. The top five of these six scores will be used to determine the team score for each event.
The club with the highest four-event total will be crowned “2020 World Class Gateway Team Challenge Champions”.
